                               Appointment of CSR Outreach - Notification​

​

IIMK LIVE, the incubation and entrepreneurship development centre of IIM Kozhikode, invites applications from qualified CSR outreach partners for a strategic engagement to strengthen corporate partnerships, CSR fundraising, and social impact enablement for the startups and enterprises incubated at the centre.

​

The selected agency will work on a retainership basis to support IIMK LIVE and its incubated startups in accessing CSR funds, building corporate linkages, and positioning themselves effectively in the social impact and sustainability ecosystem.

Objectives of the Engagement

​

The primary objectives of this engagement are:

  1. To map and connect startups with CSR-aligned corporates based on thematic focus areas, geographical presence, and SDG alignment.

  2. To identify and facilitate partnerships with NGOs as potential CSR project implementation partners.

  3. To support proposal development, pitch curation, and impact storytelling to enhance CSR fundability.

  4. To assist IIMK LIVE in building long-term relationships with corporates, foundations, and CSR stakeholders.

  5. To provide branding, visibility, and communication strategies that position IIMK LIVE and its startups as attractive partners for CSR initiatives.

Scope of Services

​

The selected agency will be responsible for delivering the following services:

​

1. Strategy Formulation

​

  • Design and implement a tailored CSR strategy for IIMK LIVE, aligned with:

    • Corporate CSR mandates

    • UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

    • Startup innovation and impact themes

  • Build a CSR opportunity framework to map startups with the right corporates based on thematic and geographic alignment.

2. Visibility Enhancement

​

  • Develop and execute a plan to increase the presence of IIMK LIVE in:

    • CSR platforms and industry events

    • Media and online communication channels

  • Provide branding and storytelling support to both IIMK LIVE and its startups to amplify their social impact narratives and visibility among corporate stakeholders.

​

3. Corporate Engagement & Fundraising

​

  • Facilitate direct connections between IIMK LIVE/startups and CSR teams of corporates for:

    • CSR funding opportunities

    • Collaborative project development

  • Engage with corporate CSR divisions to present startup use cases and secure CSR-backed projects and grants.

​

4. Partnership Development

​

  • Identify and onboard strategic implementation partners (NGOs, foundations, social enterprises) to meet CSR project eligibility requirements.

  • Curate startup-to-NGO partnerships where necessary to enhance the execution capability of CSR projects.

​

5. Networking & Thought Leadership

​

  • Enable active participation of IIMK LIVE in:

    • CSR industry forums

    • Philanthropy events

    • Knowledge-sharing and thought leadership platforms

  • Position IIMK LIVE as a trusted innovation partner within the CSR and social impact community.

​

6. Monitoring & Reporting

​

  • Submit monthly progress reports covering:

    • Hours invested

    • Corporate and NGO engagements

    • Outcomes of introductions and mapping

    • Communication and branding activities supported

  • Participate in quarterly review sessions with IIMK LIVE to refine strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Deliverables

​

Customized CSR mapping reports and startup-corporate match recommendations.

  1. Facilitated meetings and introductions with corporates, NGOs, and philanthropic organizations.

  2. Proposal development and storytelling support for individual startups.

  3. Monthly reports on activities, connections established, and outcomes.

  4. Quarterly strategy review sessions with IIMK LIVE to assess progress and refine engagement.

Qualification Criteria

​

The interested CSR Outreach Agency shall meet the following criteria:

  1. Operational experience in CSR consulting, corporate partnerships, or social impact advisory.

  2. Proven experience in working with corporate CSR departments, foundations, and social enterprises.

  3. Strong network and relationships in the corporate CSR and development sector ecosystem.

  4. Demonstrated expertise in storytelling, branding, and social impact communication.

  5. Team composition shall include CSR strategists, partnership managers, content specialists, and proposal writers.

Engagement Terms

​

The engagement will be retainer-based for an initial period of 1 year, renewable based on performance.

The agency is required to submit:

  1. Detailed proposal for engagement with LIVE in line with the scope of service

  2. Retainership fee proposal for IIMK LIVE.

​

The agency will be selected based on:

​

  1. Relevant experience and track record.

  2. Strength of existing corporate and NGO networks.

  3. Financial proposals and cost-effectiveness.

  4. Evaluation by an internal selection committee.

​

Commercials

​

The agencies are expected to submit a commercial bid for the services to be offered as per the scope of services mentioned in the notification. Exact Commercials shall be finalized against the milestones agreed between the agency and IIMK LIVE during the period of engagement with the centre.

​

Interested agencies are invited to submit their detailed proposal and fee quotation.

​

Other Terms and Conditions

​

  1. The last date for submission will be notified on the website.

  2. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience prescribed will not make an agency eligible to be called for interview.

  3. Short listed candidates alone will be called for interview

  4.  Decision of the Chairman, IIMK LIVE shall be final with regard to selection of the agency for this engagement.
