RECRUITMENT OF MANAGER- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT  

 

IIMK LIVE invites applications for the position of Manager- Business Development on contract basis.

 

IIMK LIVE is an independent organization set up by IIM Kozhikode, a premier management institute, with the support of Department of Science and Technology to act as a center for business incubation and entrepreneurship development at IIM Kozhikode. IIMK LIVE seeks to establish Business Incubator with a purpose of creating a National Centre of Excellence that promotes innovation, new business venturing and entrepreneurship.

 

IIMK LIVE is looking for highly dynamic, self-driven individual who is passionate about contributing to the start-up ecosystem and entrepreneurship development. Manager would be responsible in identifying and onboarding new programs and initiatives with the support of corporates, ministries and other government departments to support startups and innovators at the centre. He would report to the Senior General Manager of IIMK LIVE.

 

Eligibility:

• Any post-graduation preferably in MBA with good academic record

• At least 5 years of post-MBA work experience with minimum two years of work experience in the role of business development manager shall be preferred. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, programs and partnerships.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.

• Focus on achieving sales targets, profitability, and long-term business growth.

• Strengthen LIVE’s presence through networking, marketing collaboration, and market intelligence.

• Reaching out to CSR partners, designing and jointly executing programs to support startups and innovators in the country 

• Responsible for driving CSR projects with the objective of supporting startups and also for generating revenues to the center.

• Conducting training sessions, talks, workshops to support students, startups and innovators 

• Facilitating seed funds, grants and other support mechanism to startups incubated at IIMK LIVE  

Compensation: 

Consolidated, All Inclusive Monthly Remuneration shall be maximum of Rs.100000/-depending upon the suitability.
