Appointment of Graphic Designer

IIMK LIVE, the incubation and entrepreneurship development centre of IIM Kozhikode is looking for a
creative graphic designer who can work on a retainership basis to support the digital marketing initiatives
of the centre. The ideal candidate should have adequate expertise in managing the digital platforms like
facebook, twitter and linkedin and also should be able to work on the creative requirements of the centre
and the startups. Collaborating with multiple startups at the incubation centre, the graphic designer should
be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a designs that matches the
requirement of the centre as well as the startups incubated at the centre.
Roles Responsibilities
For Incubation centre
Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage
of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
Managing all social media pages of IIMK LIVE
Digital Campaign running during various programs.
Making posters for all IIMK LIVE Programs like Seed Funding, Incubation, Pre-Incubation,
accelerator and other programs.
Deliverables
Minimum 7 posters/month & 1 animated video/month
Qualification for the Digital Marketing Expert
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
3+ years’ experience in with design software, including Illustrator, Photoshop etc
Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines
The candidate should have fair knowledge in using tools like Canva, Renderforest.
Remuneration
Monthly retainership fee of Rs.6000 to Rs.7500 or payment shall be made per creative work basis within
the monthly budget of Rs. 7500.
