Start-up support program for women entrepreneurs
LaEve
LaEve is a joint initiative of Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd., a central public sector enterprise and IIMK LIVE – a Business incubator and Entrepreneurship development centre of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode - the institute of national importance, to support women entrepreneurs in a comprehensive way.
Objectives:
To identify women entrepreneurs and provide them comprehensive start-up support program
To financially support women entrepreneurs by providing seed funding to the women founded start-ups involving women founders
To provide incubation involving co-working facilities, mentoring, and professional services support and capacity building for survival, sustainability and growth.
Program Design:
Eligibility:
Early stage start-ups with at least one women as founder/co-founder Start-up is a registered company (or to be registered in 3 months of selection) in India with founders as Indian citizen of OCI
Start-up is ready with product prototype or MVP
Start-ups working in the field of health care, education, energy and hydrocarbon, financial inclusion, sustainable development , livelihood impact , waste management etc
Key offerings:
Upto Rs. 25 Lac seed support funding from MRPL through IIMK LIVE
Structured incubation with full services including task-based mentoring of IIMK LIVE
Subsidised workshops and capability building entrepreneurship development program with the help of IIMK faculty and other experts from IIMK LIVE ecosystem.
Connection with VC and angel investor network for future funding
Duration and Structure:
The program would for one year with two terms. Registration to second term would be subject t performance in term 1.
Monthly submission of performance reports and Quarterly review meeting with expert panels
Disbursement of funds in tranches based on quarterly review meetings
Conclusion of the program with Demo day/ Investor meet platform
