Can any textile startups apply for this program?
Yes. Startups operating in the textile and apparel domain can apply. Preference will be given to startups with innovative products, scalable solutions, and early market traction.

Do I need a registered startup to apply?
No. You can apply with a textile-related idea or early-stage concept. Registration is not mandatory.

What stage should my idea or proposal be in?
Ideas can be at the concept, early, or growth stage. Applicants should have identified a relevant problem or opportunity in the textile sector.

Can individuals or teams apply?
Both individuals and teams can apply.

How can I apply?
Applications can be submitted through the online application form provided by IIMK LIVE.

Is there any application fee?
No. Application and participation are free.

Who can apply if not associated with IIM Kozhikode?
The program is open to all eligible applicants, regardless of affiliation.

Do IIM Kozhikode students/alumni/faculty need to apply ?
Yes. There is a common application process for all applicants. However, priority may be given based on merit.

Do existing IIMK LIVE incubatees need to apply again?
Yes. A separate application is required for this program.

Is the program online or offline?
The program follows a hybrid format. Physical presence at IIMK LIVE is not mandatory.

What is the selection process?

• Initial shortlisting by the Internal Selection Committee

How many evaluation rounds are there?
There are two rounds of evaluation. Shortlisted startups will pitch to the final selection committee.

How and where will the pitching round be held?
The pitching process will be conducted virtually.

​

How will applicants be informed of results?
Applicants will be notified via email on their registered email ID.

Do startups receive funding?
Yes. Promising startups may receive funding of up to ₹50 lakhs along with investor connect opportunities.

Will all selected startups get funded?
No. Only startups recommended by the selection committee will be considered for funding.

Are there additional funding opportunities?
Yes. Participants may connect with investors, explore external funding, and participate in innovation challenges and grants.

How long does the approval process take?
Timelines vary depending on evaluation cycles and proposal complexity.

​

How are funds released?
Funds are released in stages through PFMS based on milestone achievement, fund utilization, and submission of reports.

What is the final outcome of participation?
Participants will gain:

Will there be investor connections?
Yes. Selected participants may get opportunities to connect with investors.
